Golf is unique from other sports because players learn values like honesty and responsibility by calling penalties on themselves and reporting their own score. The sport is a perfect platform for helping young people develop character because just like in life, players experience the highs and lows of the game.

Programs & Instruction:
The First Tee is a unique program that teaches golf and life skills. All of our teachings build on each other, enabling our participants to progress in golf and life skills. Our First Tee coaches are second to none!
To ensure that participants can demonstrate and apply the golf skills and the life skills in The First Tee program, we are required to implement The First Tee Certification Process.
The First Tee curriculum is divided into four levels: Player, Par, Birdie, and Eagle. The Player and Par level focuses on fundamental communication and self-management life skills and beginning level golf skills. The Birdie level deals primarily with goal setting and intermediate golf skills. The Eagle level gives advanced instruction and practice on mastering Par and Birdie levels as well as additional topics such as conflict management, mentoring, and career planning.
